Based in Switzerland, Perfect Privacy is a VPN provider with a heavy focus on advanced online security. Perfect Privacy has ultra fast servers (up to 1000Mb/s) in 24 countries and a custom Windows app with a number of excellent features for maximum protection. A very handy tool is real-time server latency check. Essentially, the app scans the time it takes for a signal to get from a given location to the server, thus, it helps choosing the server that will provide the best performance for a particular user.

Perfect Privacy Integrated Firewall enforces all traffic to be sent through secure tunnels thereby protecting their users from all known IP leaks including DNS and WebRTC leaks. When it’s setup to “Activate Permanently”, it will prevent network connections even when VPN application has not been launched yet! In this case, the VPN tunnel must be established before any application can connect to the Internet. Perfect Privacy also has full integration of IPv6 which means that users automatically get an anonymized IPv6 address in addition to the normal IPv4 addresses and are fully protected against IPv6 leaks.

In addition, Perfect Privacy offers a unique Multi-Hop VPN feature that allows cascading over up to 4 OpenVPN servers at the same time. If you also add Proxy servers and SSH tunnel to the cascade, this will create even more intermediary links that will practically eliminate the risk of being traced back. But as a result, the latency will suffer: the more hops you use, the greater the latency and the performance is significantly diminished.

Besides OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP/IPsec and IPsec/IKEv2, Perfect Privacy also offers SSH, SOCKS5 and Squid proxies on all of their servers. What really separates them from the standard setup, though, is their ability to resolve .onion (TOR) addresses without the need for the Tor Browser. Warrant Canary is another great feature for users concerned with full anonymity.

Moreso, their app allows users to setup up to 5 custom port-forwardings or 3 default random ports when “enable default port forwarding” is chosen. TrackStop is a server based filtering that protects their users from adware and malware.

Considering their dedication to privacy and security, Perfect Privacy VPN is not only a perfect tool to avoid mass surveillance, bypass local internet restrictions and securely stream multimedia content, but also is one of the best VPN providers for users with more advanced security needs.

Perfect Privacy is the best VPN, the most expensive too but worth every penny. The name says it all “Perfect” and “Privacy”. This provider is strongly focused on anonymity and privacy. So the sheer amount of privacy setting is fantastic. Perfect Privacy fully protects against IPv6 leaks, WebRTC leaks and DNS leaks. Most VPN providers software have kill switch that works only after the VPN app was launched. Perfect Privacy has a deeper kill switch that prevents leaks, for example, right after the PC reboots and before the VPN app is launched. So if you use their “active permanently” kill switch mode, you will have no Internet access until you connect to a VPN server. With this setup there is no way your data can be leaked ever. Obviously they are a no logging provider too.

I am a bit paranoid sometimes so I like their multi hop server cascading feature that lets me connect to multiple VPN servers at the same time. I can wrap OpenVPN under SSH tunnel to hide VPN use altogether and add another hop level. Neat! I agree with the review above that this setup has an impact on performance so like I said I use it only sometimes when I am paranoid. And I can access darknet from normal browsers like Mozilla if I want to. I personally don’t it because Tor is more secure by default and strips all sorts of data.

When it comes to speed Perfect Privacy rocks as well. I have gigabit connection and I reliably get super fast speeds when I don’t use multi hop. Torrents are downloaded very fast, port forwarding option makes them even faster. Great VPN provider, I definitely recommend it to those who don’t mind the price.

Perfect Privacy VPN has a clear focus on privacy and security. It’s a premium VPN service so it’s worth the price tag IMO. They don’t have virtual servers, run ramdisk that maximizes security (ramdisk will prevent data recovery in case a server was seized by authorities so there is no risk that my data is ever recovered after a datacenter was raided). Their kill switch and IP leaks protection is much stronger comparing to all the other VPNs. Kill switch can be activated to never allow unsecured internet access (like when the app is not running). They have cascading servers and NeuroRouting, I tried cascading over several of those but I feel it’s an overkill for my needs. I suppose some might need it. Like I have a friend who went to China and he said SSH tunnel worked well to bypass the firewall in China. He also said the internet speed improved for him.

Perfect Privacy speeds are the greatest. I don’t even notice any difference in speed with my normal internet speed. The apps are clean. I been using Perfect Privacy VPN for several years and I give them 5 stars for security, 5 stars for reliability and 5 stars for speed (hello gigabit servers!).

I chose Perfect Privacy over AirVPN because of cascading options and port forwarding when cascading, Tor over VPN. I live in the middle eastern country where VPNs are blocked and illegal. Perfect Privacy gives me number of OpenVPN obfuscation options to bypass VPN ban and to mask OpenVPN from ISP. TrackStop protection for tracking cookies, malware, ads, phishing sites, browser fingerprinting. IPv6 support on all servers. Solid kill switch. Perfect Privacy is the best of all vpns that I tested.

Using PP for many years. The quality of service is consistent, very reliable. Ramdisk on all servers to prevent data breach by government. No harddrives, no logs. Same goes to access to sensible user information by hosting providers and similar. Never experienced services interruptions. Tested kill switch after restarting PC, couldn’t connect to the Internet until I started VPN. Perfect Privacy is very very fast VPN. The price is probably too high for those who don’t care about leaks and don’t need gigabit speed. But as the sayng goes, you get what you pay for. Perfect Privacy is very good at what they do, very good for anonymity. I don’t mind paying extra for the best security available.

The performance is outstanding, security is as good as it gets. Windows app works perfectly. I prefer slicker designs so I would recommend improvement in this area (ExpressVPN is much nicer), but Perfect Privacy is by far the most secure VPN provider I could find. Their features are enough for a perfect VPN. I am a satisfied customer (6 months already).
