Offering over 3,000 VPN servers in 50 countries, all mainstream protocols and 5 simultaneous connections, TorGuard rightfully earned its place as a top VPN provider. Instead of developing their custom desktop apps, TorGuard partnered with Viscosity and offers free software license to its clients. But to make it even easier for their users, TorGuard offers pre-flashed DDWRT VPN routers, Roku Streaming players, Boxee boxes so that the users can connect any device directly to their VPN encrypted Wi-Fi network.

In addition, TorGuard features advanced security features such as Kill Switch option that ensures no data leaks when the connection drops. Their SOCKS5 and http proxy is an excellent feature for high-speed multimedia streaming and torrenting as it integrates with the main BitTorrent applications. Considering that the company keeps no connection logs, accepts Bitcoin and their servers are optimised for Bittorent file sharing, it’s also it’s a perfect choice for privacy oriented clients who would like to download content even if they live in a country with strict copyright infingement laws.

With its StealthVPN, TorGuard can bypass even the worst Deep Packet Inspection firewalls such as those found in China or Middle East (Iran and Syria). So it’s a highly recommended VPN provider for users who live in regions with very restrictive governments and would like to unblock Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, or other geographically restricted content.

Moreover, TorGuard is not only one of the best VPN providers, it also offers OpenPGP encrypted email service with 2 factor authentication and up to 10Mb free storage.

TorGuard used to offer a SmartDNS service that gives their users high speed access to geo-restricted websites and services like Netflix, Twitter, Youtube, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora, Hulu and many more. When PayPal stopped supporting payment processing for SmartDNS providers, TorGuard discontinued this service.

Nevertheless, TorGuard is one of a few VPN providers that can bypass Netflix proxy error with their Netflix streaming IP. Unlike most VPN providers, TorGuard can unblock a number of Netflix regions: USA, UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Japan and Singapore.

Overall, TorGuard is one the leading privacy companies with excellent speeds and a truly reliable service. TorGuard offers ultra fast VPN connection that will not disappoint.

TorGuard is easily the best VPN on the market. I constantly get about 200Mbps download speeds with Viscosity. Maybe the interface is bit too technical for a regular Joe, but I think that TorGuard allows much flexibility in VPN setup and that is a big advantage. TorGuard software is leak proof, port forwarding for fast seeding, I have never experienced downtime or issues, the speeds are great (I use dedicated IP FWIW). I also visited China recently and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to access any social media and Google, but TorGuard has some sort of protocol that can bypass Internet restrictions in China. VPNs are banned in China and TorGuard VPN works. Very impressive! I think a price is a bargain for all the options that TorGuard offers.

I use TorGuard mainly to access Netflix and it works really well comparing to competition. You need to buy a dedicated IP address for Netflix which sucks but at least it works. It’s fast enough for streaming and regular online activities. I am not really using all those complicated features so I cannot comment on them. Easy setup and interface, good speeds. I can certainly say that I am a satisfied customer.

For quite inexpensive VPN service I am very pleased. Their support is not the brightest in the world and likely won’t help solving the issues much, but the VPN itself is good. Torguard doesn’t log your IP address, the security is great. I’ve been using it for half a year, only experienced an issue once. Turned out it was not Torguard’s fault, my router was malfunctioning. Again support wasn’t too helpful, but not really their fault I suppose. I bought a new router and my speeds greatly improved. I can definitely recommend Torguard VPN because I never have problems with performance.

Terrible. Torrents worked and speed good but utorrent showed unconnectible which is a port issue. They advised how to set a port forward but no suggestions fixed the issues. Then around the time USA woke up my speeds dropped to 1.1MB constant and never fluctuated.
Disconnect and port issue and speed all fixed. They deny all throttle of speeds and we had 12hrs offering basic support that didn’t help. I asked to cancel and refund and they asked again to help and can we hold off the cancel. I headed home to continue our support after all day at work trying to fix.
When got home they had cancelled me with no notification and no advise on refund. I am new chasing them for refund advise.

They are clearly not very professional and have no ideas on fixing basic port issues. And went admit throttle when clearly do.
1.1MB on all servers all day after 9am USA time

I used torguard for years, top notch service with very fast speeds. Torguard is by far the best vpn I tried! Amazing speeds, thousands of servers. I use port forwarding when traveling because it seems vpn doesn’t work on certain public Wifi networks, port forwarding helps with that. They also have StealthVPN for super restrictive networks, I personally never needed it, but I heard from friends it also works well. Torguard is a no logging vpn provider too. Anyway, I strongly recommend torgaurd.

Excellent no logs VPN service in my opinion. My internet is not the fastest in the world but it’s fast enough to notice when VPN kills the speed. Torguard is performing well, probably better than other VPNs. There are a lot of setup options for torrenting, Viscosity, port forwarding, TCP/UDP selection. I torrent a lot so port forwarding helps with seeding speeds. Actually I think I get better torrenting speeds with Torguard than without Torguard. I was with Torguard for 3 years I think and I can say for a fact that it doesn’t leak (I would be getting notices from ISP if it did). So I most definitely can recommend Torguard to fellow torrent fans, privacy enthusiasts and those who want a stable VPN service.
